Home to approximately three-hundred people, Ambler is located near the Kobuk and Ambler Rivers about 138 miles northeast of Kotzebue and forty-five miles north of the Arctic Circle. Ambler’s school consists of sixty-nine students, 94% of whom are Alaskan Native. There are seven teachers who incorporate bilingual, technology, music, art, physical education, and many more topics into the school curriculum.
