Welcome

Here at Kotzebue Middle High School we strive to provide a learning environment that inspires and challenges students and employees to excel. We have the district’s vision to graduate all students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for a successful future.

Kotzebue Middle High School averages around 275 students grades 7 - 12. Our attendance rates from 2024 - 2025 was 80% with a 74% graduation rate.

We are privileged to work closely with the Alaska Technical Center to provide opportunities for our students to try exploratory classes in various trades and receive early certification, training, and skills.

University of Alaska Fairbanks‘ Chukchi Campus is right across the street from us providing students the opportunity to take duel credits or enroll in college level courses during their academic career at KMHS.
